Ladyboy shows offer some of the finest night-time entertainment in Bangkok with shows that are jam-packed with glitz, glam and a touch of humour. The performers are world-class and the draw-card for busloads of tourists every night. We have selected Bangkok's best ladyboy venues for you. Most have at least three shows every night, and after the shows you'd be able to take photographs of your favourite performers (generous tips are politely encouraged).

Founded in 1988, Calypso Cabaret has long been hailed as one of the cabaret show pioneers in Thailand. Conveniently located at Asiatique Shopping village, Calypso Cabaret delivers extravagant Broadway-style shows, as well as Thai classical dance, a comical Geisha repertoire, Chinese ballads and much more. Two performances are held every night (20:15 and 21:45).
After stints in Phuket and Chiang Mai, Playhouse Theatre has brought their family-friendly ladyboy show to Bangkok with all the feather boas and sequins you’d expect and enough silicone to keep the Titanic afloat. The show differs from most other transvestite cabarets in that the emphasis is on showmanship (excuse the pun), with some laugh-out-loud moments, rather than any kind of erotic dancing. There are over ten separate acts during the 1 hour 15 minute performance during which time the audience will be treated to renditions of Christina Aguilera, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Swan Lake, and a comedy compere who keeps the laughs coming with an accomplished performance.

Said to host the 'Queen' of the drag shows, Mambo Cabaret has all the glitz and glamour that one would expect of a ladyboy cabaret. The show is professional, polished and entertaining.
As with most of the other shows, you will also get a chance to take a photo with the performers afterwards (expect to pay for this privilege). The venue is near Central department store (Sathupradit-Rama III Road). Show times are at at 19:15, 20:30 and 22:00 every night.
Golden Dome Cabaret
Located in the Ratchada area. The best way to get there is by taking the subway (MRT) and getting off at Sutthisan station. From there you can either catch a taxi or just walk up Sutthisan Road (which should take 10 to 15 minutes). Golden Dome is at the end of the road. Three shows are held daily (17:00, 19:00 and 22:00).
