  • Thara Thong’s floor seating and low tables create an elegant but relaxed atmosphere. The music and dance performances begin at 19:00, and your party can choose between indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit indoors, you can admire the ornately painted teakwood ceiling, and outdoors you will have a splendid view of the Chao Phraya River as night falls. The assortment of vegetarian and seafood dishes is unbeatable. Try the roti stuffed with vegetables in a spicy tamarind sauce for 250 baht, or the steamed, white seabass with chili and lime sauce for 580 baht. Divine desserts include the egg custard in baby pumpkin for 220 baht. At this restaurant, it’s all about the presentation. If you’re looking for a taste of traditional Thailand, Thara Thong Bangkok offers just that.
