A Legendary Party Street in Bangkok
The sun falls quickly in Bangkok and when it does, Sukhumvit Soi 11 becomes a beacon for an amazing range of people attracted by the bars, restaurants and clubs that line the street on either side.
In fact, for sheer variety of evening entertainment Sukhumvit Soi 11 is unbeatable. Some of the best value world cuisine can be sampled at one of many recommended restaurants towards the beginning of the soi, which then give way to chic bars, world famous dance clubs and pop-up Voltzwagen camper van bars selling cocktails in buckets. Throw in several rooftop cocktail options and there you have the full array of what Sukhumvit Soi 11 in Bangkok has to offer.
The crowd is equally mixed between tourists, expats and Thais, all out on a good time vibe. It is one of the only locations in the city where you will see groups of guys in singlets sitting next to the socialite crowd and everyone having fun. There are also a few ‘working ladies’ that hang out close to the Ambassador Hotel offering “massage”, but they are never a problem and barely noticeable. If you want to see the many faces of Bangkok, Sukhumvit Soi 11 has them all!
Getting to Soi 11 is simple because every taxi driver in the city knows this famous evening strip. Alternatively, take the BTS to Nana Station. Soi 11 is directly at the bottom of Exit 3.
