New York Style Steak & Burger Bangkok is the perfect place for anyone with a passion for high quality steaks and monstrous burgers, cooked in true char-grilled American fashion. Using exclusively US certified Angus beef, all ingredients are brought in fresh everyday and served in a contemporary metropolitan setting. There is a relaxing ambience here, both indoor and outdoor on the large terrace.
New York Style Steak & Burger is located on the second floor of Park, a collection of restaurants and bars in Soi Sukhumvit 22, just opposite the former Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel. The quickest way to get there is to take the BTS Skytrain to Phrom Phong Station or simply take a taxi.
On the back of great success in Shanghai and Beijing, New York Style and Burger has come to Bangkok thanks to Khun Naalinlat, the ex model and steak connoisseur, who fell in love with the concept of an authentic American steakhouse and has brought it to Bangkok for us to enjoy.
The burger everyone is talking about is the Manhattan Monster: 220 g of prime US beef, topped with crispy bacon, cheese and fried egg. The burger comes pink in the middle and lightly seasoned so you can really taste the quality, although you can ask for it well done if you’d rather. The portion is simply huge and, for 450 baht, is great value. All ingredients are guaranteed fresh every day. All steaks have a delicious combination charred exteriors but succulent pink meat once you cut into the steak and served with your choice of sauce and side dishes. A 250g USDA Rib Eye steak costs 1,250 baht, and comes highly marbled for delicious texture and taste.
The drinks menu at New York Style and Burger consists of a modest but very well priced collection red and white wine, with several offerings well under 2000 baht a bottle. American craft beers are big on the menu as well as a collection of signature cocktails, named after districts in New York. You could spoil yourself with Fifth Avenue: a combination of gin with a zing of lemon, raspberry puree and topped up with white wine. For the guys, Brooklyn Bridge is a nice test for your drinking ability: choose an American craft beer of your choice (Anderson Valley and Rogue available) and slug it down with a shot of Bourbon.
