Trader Vic’s at Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa has just launched a nightly line-up of music events, welcoming some of Bangkok’s best blues, jazz, salsa and soul bands to their stage. Combine this with some irresistible food, even more irresistible drinks promotions (such as free flow sparkling wine for the ladies on Wednesdays) - all against the backdrop of the Chao Phraya River, and you have yourself one of the most exciting new live music scenes in Bangkok.
Launched in August 2014, Trader Vic’s has set its benchmark high, with the aim of becoming the ‘new hub of live music in Bangkok’. With the likes of ‘Chai and the Blues Maniacs’ – a band who have already made a name for themselves across town at Maggie Choo’s and the famous Saxophone Pub at Victory monument – as well as a Beatles night on Thursday and Salsa Mondays, all the ingredients seem to be in place for Trader Vic’s to realise their ambition.
