The Living Room at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel
Live Jazz in Bangkok0
The Living Room at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel is renowned as one of the finest places in Bangkok to sit back with an expertly crafted cocktail or single malt, and enjoy live jazz music that is smooth, melodic and very easy listening. This is a mature, demure and all together classy affair, with talented musicians taking to the stage every night from 18:15, before a jazz trio at 21:15 (Tuesday to Saturday). As a testament to the quality of the jazz being performed here, several of the musicians have an international following that travels from far and wide specifically to hear their favourite artists play.
Set in a circular room made atmospheric by heavy black drapes and low lights, live jazz at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel is clearly not an afterthought. The décor is tasteful, the service refined and there is a fine tapas menu of regional delicacies such as charcuterie platters, with the option of ordering from Sheraton’s two flagship restaurants: Basil for modern Thai dishes and Rossini’s for classic Italian cuisine.Read More

Randy Cannon is the headline act at The Living Room. His jazz trio has been together for over 10 years, and their performances are so intuitive it’s clear they are both skilled musicians and lovers of melodic and technical jazz. Their tunes are sure to get your toes tapping and head swaying in time with the music.
The Randy Canon Group performs from Tuesday to Saturday from 21:15. Other performers include Josh Lebofsky who performs solo piano from 18:15, except on Sunday when Jazziam entertains guests at the hotel’s Jazzy brunch.
Despite the excellent collection of rare whiskies and fine wines, we must recommend the signature cocktail range at The Living Room Jazz Bar in Bangkok. Titled, somewhat ostentatiously, The Cocktail Collection by The Luxury Collection, they are sublime. The Last Cocktail is served in a martini glass and made with gin, pulped pear and rosemary, topped up with Prosecco and clove.
The result is a balanced drink with a depth you can only find in the very best of cocktails. The Vada Gimlet was inspired by Thai cuisine, featuring gin, lemongrass, chilli, lime and clove. This one really hits you with these fresh and fiery flavours (all signature cocktails cost 350 baht).
