The Embassy Room at Park Hyatt Bangkok is decked out like a hi-end living space, with tasteful art on the walls and ceiling, a spacious open kitchen full of action, and a wall of glass overlooking the hotel’s stunning infinity pool. Open for lunch and dinner, The Embassy Room Bangkok specializes in fish and seafood dishes, with menu options inspired by Asian and western traditions. Besides the seafood delicacies, most produce is locally sourced and organic whenever possible and that comes across in the fresh flavours.
This restaurant is popular with executives from the nearby offices of Ploenchit, as well as 'ladies who lunch'. Catering to this crowd, there’s a great value lunch special on offer for 850 baht for 2 courses or 950 for 3 courses, with a variety of options to choose from. You can opt from yellow fin tuna tartare, Scottish salmon, or some delightfully tender chicken (580 baht from the a la carte menu), with a zesty lemon tart or rich éclair with coconut and raspberry to finish.

If you come for dinner, don’t miss the truffle spaghetti, which is liberally covered with fresh truffle shavings. The Hokaiddo scallops (450 baht) is another winner at Embassy Room Bangkok, presented with crushed and toasted hazelnuts, florets of cauliflower and some wholegrain mustard to add lasting flavour. A really nice touch about the menu here is the option to choose anything as a personal serving for one or as a sharing plate more common in Asian cultures. As with all dining venues connected with the Hyatt brand, the wine list is superb. There’s a wide selection of fine labels, and a huge selection by the glass. There’s also a choice of beer, sake, and Italian grappa.
It’s very convenient to find Embassy Room on the 9th floor of Park Hyatt Bangkok, with direct access through Central Embassy shopping mall. There’s also a direct connection from Ploenchit BTS Station.
