The name Bombyx is actually the scientific name for a silk worm – harking back to the brand's silk roots – and all of the art featured in the restaurant was created by Ithipol Thanchalok. The artist is known for his dynamic works across various mediums, including sculptures, paintings and prints. Visitors can also sample an array of cocktails at the bar and purchase some of the famous Jim Thompson silk scarves from the restaurant as well as at the Jim Thompson store adjacent.
