Achieving and maintaining self wellness in central Silom has crossed a new threshold at Le Méridien Bangkok, where the entire sixth floor of the hotel is dedicated to pursuing a unique luxury lifestyle experience.
Inspired by the rich traditions of European spa, SPA at Le Méridien Bangkok breaks away from how spa is viewed, reflecting the sophistication of today’s international traveller. The experience begins upon arrival where guests are greeted with the sounds of upbeat music not typically paired with a luxury spa. Unlike traditional spa spaces, laughter is encouraged and discovery is a given.
SPA becomes the centre of the hotel’s wellness facilities, with spa artists applying therapeutic touches in seven circular treatment rooms, two of which are designed for couples. The circular spa treatment rooms represent the “global Méridien” from which the luxury brand derives its concept. The shape also provides an aura of calm conducive to meditation, which is enhanced by distinct round spa beds.
As the hotel is in Bangkok’s energetic central Silom business area, SPA’s signature treatment comprises neck, back and shoulder touches, as well as foot touches in a unique way to pamper body and mind through the art of Asian reflexology. All spa treatments and therapies are based on achieving total purification, restoring natural energy and harmony between body and mind. A selection of three background music genres are available for guests to choose from according to her or his style and mood.
The sixth floor of the hotel also houses a Technogym-equipped fitness centre lined with floor-to-ceiling window panels revealing an extended view over Bangkok. After a spa and workout, guests can relax with a creative snack and cool drink in luxury just outside on the pool deck at Plunge bar or in the spa’s modern chill space accompanied by the sounds of upbeat music.
"Our luxury Spa is one more piece of Le Méridien experience that encompasses the authentic discovery we are offering our guests," said Le Méridien Bangkok’s, General Manager, Ralf Stresing. "But the focal point is that SPA is a place to simply relax and discover the good life in the heart of Bangkok and central Silom."
