Aleenta

All the organic ingredients at this restaurant are grown onsite in the resort’s nursery. The degustation menu features Chef Rose’s kitchen creations and a vintage wine match to complement the food. The menu features soft shell crab with local herbs and spices and seared sea scallops with freshly ground ginger and Thai lime… simply delicious.

Anchana Kitchen

Serving delectable Thai and European seafood prepared by world-class chefs who have cooked in major hotels around the globe. All the fish on the menu is purchased on the day of serving it, as testament to its freshness. Away Pranburi

The intimate dining area on the ground floor of this 55-year-old teakwood Thai house possesses a distinct charm. Relaxed and homely, here you can enjoy a wide selection of Thai cuisine cooked to perfection. The interior is simple and traditional while still being inviting. Part of the Away Pranburi Boutique Resort, the property consists of just four villas so there is a real sense of privacy here, perfect for romantic couplings. More often that not you will feel like you have the place all to yourself.

Baan Thai

One of the few restaurants in Pranburi that doesn’t belong to a resort, this quaint little eatery is a Thai-style place that overlooks the ocean. Cheap and cheerful, it’s not the most attractive restaurant in the area but the food speaks for itself. Serving up vast array of Thai seafood, salad and curry-based treats, it has some of the best food in the area with the added bonus of not being too expensive.

Casablanca

Using the freshest local and regional produce, Casablanca has a one-off reputation within the area. As befitting its name, it serves North African cuisine and is situatedin a traditional Moroccan ‘riad’ or inner garden, with a menu fusing European, Middle Eastern and Thai cuisine while the ambiance reflects the exotic style & culture of North Africa. Described as a ‘trans-continental culinary experience’, dinner can be followed with a waterpipe at the shisha bar.

If you visit Pranburi, this beachfront eatery just south of the main Pranburi intersection is not to be missed. The menu features regional Thai and seafood dishes, whipped up from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Most notable is the robust flavour of the sauces, as each dish is richly seasoned with local herbs and spices. Try grilled tiger prawns, stir-fried clams in thick chili sauce, deep-fried fish cake and fish som tam.

The Living Room

This is a secluded and romantic outlet offering salas in the setting of tremendous gardens and lily ponds. A highlight of this place is that the kitchen prepares new menus daily, so you can be constantly surprised and impressed. The selection of wines is second to none, the menus are mainly Western, sometimes with a hint of local flavours while the breakfast buffet is truly an original due to having an a la carte menu and the walk-in deli, scoring highly for both choice and setting.
