Value: Supreme fashions don't come cheap. Often, you can pick up a good deal though if you keep your eyes peeled for promotions and discounts.
Verdict: If you come to Bangkok for shopping, it's not to be missed.

Central Department Store is one of the best places to go if you need something specific, and don't want to be distracted along the way. Expect to find: Travelers, 'home executives' doing monthly shopping, good quality tomato sauce, reasonably-priced merchandise and some great bargains (from time to time).
Value: Best value for money to be had in the supermarket.
Verdict: A good place for certain items, and easy to access.
