Cycle Tour to Ko Kret

This gentle ride takes you north of Bangkok to the historic island of Ko Kret. Starting at Wat Ko Kriang, on the banks of the Chao Phraya river, you’ll see local villages, rice paddies, fruit plantations and riverside communities. Crossing over to Ko Kret, you'll cycle around, enjoying peaceful scenery and car-free roads.

At the Mon Pottery Centre, you’ll see why the resident Mon people are famous for their skill at the potter's wheel, and be able to shop for terracotta and earthenware products. The trip ends with a Thai lunch overlooking the Chao Phraya River.

Day 1	Bangkok – Nonthaburi – Ko Kret - Bangkok 15 km [L] ( Pick up and drop off at all major Bangkok hotels. )
08:30 – 09:00	Pick up from hotels
09:00 – 09:45	Drive from Bangkok to Wat Ko Kriang for the start of the ride
09:45 – 11:15	Ride on quiet back roads through the rice fields and unique villages of Buang Bua Thong to Wat Toae (10Km)
11:15 – 11:30	Cross the Chao Phraya to Ko Kret island
11:30 – 12:30	Cruise around Ko Kret Island, visiting a plantation and museum (5km)
12:30 – 13:30	Have lunch at a riverside restaurant
13:30 – 15:00	Cross over the river to Wat Klang Kret and return by Minibus to Bangkok.

Road Surface	This tour follows a mix of asphalt roads, vehicle-width dirt roads, and canal paths. No technical ability is required.
Support	One or two seat 8-seat air-conditioned minibuses fitted with two-way radio and specially converted to take bikes and bikers.

Staff	Each tour is led by at least one fully-trained English speaking tour guide.
Food	Lunch is a delicious Thai lunch. Soft drinks, water and fruit are available all day.
