On this gentle 25-km half-day trip explore the green heart of Bangkok: a place known to locals as Bang Ka Jao. Only a short hop from chaotic Sukhumvit, this green wilderness has thankfully been left untouched by developers. Lush vegetation, a maze of waterways, small villages, temples and tropical jungle make it a real journey back in time. You cycle past temples, local markets and Thai houses and see the communities that live and work here. Stopping at an incense workshop you'll see how a cottage industry operates, and visit an Ayutthaya era temple.
