Sukhumvit is packed full of cosmopolitan shopping, dining and entertainment, and also home to many towering offices, many of them housing top media and publishing companies. There are also lots of embassies.
Everything from affordable hi-rise hotels to sleek boutiques and luxury serviced apartments can be found along its length. Traffic can be a problem, but those staying here are usually within walking distance of a BTS Skytrain station. There is also a convenient intersection with the MRT Underground at Asok.
