The Khao Yai National Park (Thailand’s second largest and a World Heritage Site) is famous for its dense virgin forests, streams, waterfalls and high-altitude plains. Such a rich landscape makes it a haven for wildlife, including elephants, tigers, gibbons and deer, and over 300 bird species.
After visiting a local market and exploring its trails, you’ll visit a breathtaking three-tiered waterfall, which cascades from a 200-meter cliff onto the plains below. Enjoying lunch at a nearby restaurant, you’ll then enjoy a one-hour trek though the jungle terrain on elephant back.

Early morning, pick up at your hotel and drive towards Khao Yai National Park. Our first stop will be at a local market, where many kinds of fruit, vegetable and food items are on display. Then board a traditional cart pulled by oxen and enjoy a ride among rice fields. We then continue to the national park and walk along marked trails through the forest towards Heo Narok Waterfall. After lunch at a local restaurant near the waterfall, enjoy a one-hour trek through the jungle on the back of an elephant. Transfer back to your hotel in Bangkok. |
