Hin Tok River Camp @ Hell Fire Pass is the latest addition of luxury safari tents built along the Kwai River in Kanchanaburi province that offers a unique experience close to nature in true comfort. Located about 210 km from Bangkok, or 80 km north of Kanchanaburi, and about 3 km from the Hellfire Pass Memorial.

Hin Tok River Camp is consists of 20 luxury safari tents, each built on a wooden platform and furnished with comfortable twin or king-size beds, minibar, air-conditioner and standing fan, mosquito nets at the entrance/exit, and "windows". Each tent has an adjacent open-air bathroom with hot and cold shower, toilet and wash-basin. They are approximately 3.5 meters wide, 5 meters long and 3 meters high.

Day 1:

Bangkok—Kanchanaburi—Hin Tok River Camp (Lunch & Dinner)

06:00 - 06:30

Pick up from major hotels in Bangkok downtown area.
Depart to Kanchanaburi province (128 km. to the west of Bangkok)


Visit Thailand–Burma Railway Centre an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway. The fully air-conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. Visit Allied War Cemetery, resting-place for more than 6,000 Allied prisoners of war (POWs). Visit the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs.


Arrive at Hin Tok River Camp, Check–in and have Lunch.


Visit the Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum which is dedicated to those Australians and other Allied Prisoners of War and Asian labourers who suffered and died at Hellfire Pass and elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region during WW2. Then trekking along the Walking Trails from Hell Fire Pass to Hin Tok Station. Then picked up by minivan back to the camp.

Late afternoon get on a mountain bike to visit a village or farm nearby the camp.


Dinner and overnight at Hintok River Camp

Day 2:

Kanchanaburi—Bangkok (Breafast, Lunch)


Early morning biking across a hanging bridge to the temple for merit making by giving food to monks.


American Breakfast.


Check out and take a long–tailed boat to get River Kwai Jungle Rafts to visit the ethnic Mon Tribal Village

Recommended Option:
- Take one-hour elephant riding to visit Mon Village.
Extra: Baht 1,800.- per elephant (two person per elephant).


Depart the Village


Lunch at a local restaurant


Take a historic ride on Death Railway Train passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs


Journey back to Bangkok


Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to hotels.
