My Trip
Frequently asked questions about Bangkok
What should I wear?
It has not been ‘demanded’ of tourists, but wearing black or dark coloured clothes is a nice gesture of respect. Colourful clothing will be more socially acceptable after mid-November.

What is closed and what is not?
Almost everything in Bangkok is now open and operating normally.
Be advised that The Grand Palace in Bangkok may be closed because King Bhumibol Adulyadej's funeral is taking place at The Temple of The Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) inside the palace grounds. is also available in Japanese and Chinese
