41. Gorgeous Gourmet Pates
Like the finer things in life? Well, then head to The Oriental Shop at Siam Paragon to find a superlative stock of gorgeous gourmet pates ranging from chicken liver to duck, as well as other delectable treats including chocolates, charcuterie items and imported vintage wines.
How to find it: Ground floor, Siam Paragon. Nearest BTS is Siam (Opening Times: 11:00 - 23:00 Mon - Fri, 10:00 - 22:00 on weekends).

42. Baan Pra Arthit
A quaint, relaxing coffee shop situated near the front of the leafy Baan Phra Arthit. Offers teas, coffees and an excellent spread of cakes and pastries, as well as light snacks and meals. The perfect place to read a book and forget you're in Bangkok for half an hour or so.
How to find it: 102/1 Phra Arthit Road, Banglamphu

43. Coffee Beans by Dao
One of the finest places in town for rich, yummy cakes. Eclairs, apple crumble, cheesecakes, pastries, chocolate cakes, you get the idea. Oh, and they sell coffee, teas and milkshakes too.
How to find it: 20/12-15 Soi Ruam Rudee, Ploen Chit Road

44. Tex-Mex

Coyote is undoubtedly the best place in Bangkok for Tex Mex. Nachos, fajitas, burritos and enchiladas, they're all here. Also do a good line in fiery cocktails - try the margarita.
How to find it: Head to Soi Convent (number 1 & 2), just off Silom Road.

45. Tida Esarn
On Soi Rang Nam this excellent Isaan restaurant is bustling every evening with Thai and foreigner alike. Go there for the excellent 'som tum' (spicy mango salad). The open air, local crowd and very reasonable prices add to its Northeastern charm. Also serve an extensive Thai menu.
How to find it: From Victory Monument head to Soi Rang Nam (the road with the Century Movie Plaza at its end). It's approximately 50 metres on the left.

46. Late Night Moo Ping (Grilled Pork)
Late every night in the midst of Silom, the moo ping rot kheng and other amiable vendors here supply those making their way home with the perfect post-imbibing fare: succulent spears of freshly grilled protein.
How to find it: They all congregate on the corner of Soi Convent and Silom Road, just outside California Wow Fitness.

47. Fabulous Indian Cuisine
Housed in a genuine Thai teak house, the picturesque Hazara Indian restaurant serves a wonderful array of Northern and Southern dishes from the subcontinent in a glorious, decorative setting. Great nan breads. The Face complex, of which it is part, also houses a pastry shop, cafe, bar and Thai restaurant.
How to find it: Head to the BTS Thonglor station and it's is a short way into Sukhumvit Soi 38, on your left.

48. Food for Fun

Food for Fun , or 'f' as it has been branded, is the most fashionable food court statement in Bangkok. Launched in the middle of 2006, this 2,000 square meter orange and red (and very hip!) gathering place at Siam Center is targeted at a trendy young generation. There are 35 outlets selling a wide and affordable range of food. It even has a DJ booth (or rather 'bubble') in mid-air, playing lively music all day long to keep patrons happy. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.
How to find it: Take the Skytrain (BTS) to Siam.

49. Chef Aki's New Creations
Lovers of exquisite Japanese cuisine, take note. Chef Akihiro Izumi from 'Tsu' Restaurant at the JW Marriott Hotel in Sukhumvit Road has created several new, and quite stunning dishes. These include 'matsusaka lover's rolls', 'sparkey rolls' and deep-fried snow fish with 'saikyo miso' sauce. Hmmm...
How to find it: Take the Skytrain (BTS) to Nana sation

50. Fish & Chips

Looking for some fish & chips in Bangkok? Then 'Oh My Cod!' is the place. Popular with tourists and Anglophile Thais, there's also classic British nosh like mushy peas, bangers and mash and the 'hangover special' cooked English breakfast.
How to find it: Near Khao San Road, head to the temple and take a left down Soi Rambuttri, you'll find it in the square in the Rumbuttri Village Inn shopping centre on your right (Open daily from 07:30 - 23:00).

51. Deep Fried Tofu
If you think tofu is boring, you'll think otherwise once you've tried fried tofu with sweet and spicy peanut sauce. Don't forget to sample deep fried taro and corn as well.
How to find it: Chatuchak Weekend Market, Section 2, Soi 2 (opposite Or Tor Kor market).

52. Noodle 'n More

This ultra-modern tearoom-cum-restaurant serves delicious dim sum like egg roll stuffed with shrimp and steamed snapper in soy sauce. Try the famous egg noodle with black pepper shrimp and juicy roasted duck. A wide selection of tea from around the world is also available. Try rose tea and 'dragon's whisker' tea.
How to find it: Just a few steps from Hua Lamphong MRT station

53. Reflections
This a la Warhol shocking pink boutique hotel is impossible to miss and its restaurant offers tasty cocktails as well as 'miang kam' (Thai leaf-wrapped tidbits appetizer), soft-shell crab in curry powder and stir-fried Eryngii mushroom in black pepper.
How to find it: 81 Soi Aree, Paholyothin 7, Phayathai Road

54. Thip Volcanic Fried Mussel & Oyster
Thip Volcanic Fried Mussel & Oyster has been serving thin, crispy, sizzling 'hoi tod' (fried mussels and oyster) for over 70 years and no-one gets tired of it. Expect sizeable mussels and oysters erupting from a bed of crunchy bean sprouts and sweet chili sauce... Yum!
How to find it: 3 Charoen Krung 50 Road, close to Robinson Bangrak (open daily from 09:00 until 19:00, closed on Sundays).

55. Four Colour Noodle in Thick Gravy
Find the place called 'Shingee' for the famous multi-coloured noodle in thick gravy (laad naa) served with fried egg.
How to find it: Near Romaneenart Park, Mahachai Road

56. Saffron
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of Khao San Road and treat yourself to a cappuccino and the likes of white chocolate mousse cake, fresh peach cake and the rare Hungarian walnut cake at Saffron.
How to find it: 86 Pra Arthit Road, Chanasongkhram, Pranakorn

57. Roasted Duck Noodle

This place is famous for its succulent roasted duck and home-made egg noodle. Recommended dishes are egg noodle and rice with roasted duck.
How to find it: Located next to 7 Eleven, Tha Prachan Road, opposite Thammasat University (open daily from 06:00 to 18:00).

58. The Third Floor
Under the concept of blood type diet, The Third Floor features a healthy menu that divides food according to blood groups. For example, those having O blood can enjoy grilled sirloin beef with Isaan style dipping sauce with no guilt!

59. Rarn Lee
Craving fish ball noodle soup in the middle of the night? Head to Rarn Lee, a heaven for fish ball lovers. Rarn Lee is well-known for its 100% fish-meat balls, many kinds of noodle soups and spicy salad. Open 24 hours.

60. Khanom Jeen Soi Suan Plu
Enjoy a freshly-made rice-flour noodle with different 'namya' (sauce) and fresh salad. If you don't know what to start with, try 'khanom jeen' with chicken green curry and hard-boiled egg.
